Parents of a young boy who sustained critical wounds after being hurled from the tenth level of the museum have revealed their "little knight" has achieved his target of being able to run, jump, and swim anew.

The French youngster was six years old when he was pushed off a balcony by a youth, at that time 17 years old.

The child, who was on holiday with the parents in August 2019 when attacked, lived through a 30-meter plunge but received permanent injuries, like a bleed on the brain and broken bones.

Relatives said in an news on a fundraising site, they were delighted that he had been able to improve with his running, jumping and swimming before his forthcoming procedure.

"He can't perform similar to kids of his age, certainly, but we are unable to explain his actions in different terms than by terming it's swimming, running, and jumping."

"It varies, merely across a short distance or a low level, but it's an incredible accomplishment."

The boy, who passed months in ICU, has continued to build cognitive endurance.

Relatives said although his memory skills were still highly constrained, they were operational and advancing, so he was "acquiring a common awareness at his own pace, which more and more permits him to be involved with kids."

'Objective Met'

Parents noted: "He is also developing, and due to his work with the movement specialist, he presently permits himself to relax."

"Previously, to compensate for his limitation on the left side, he kept his right side continuously stiff, which gave him suffering."

"Currently, our pre-teen (we must acknowledge the truth, he's no longer a child now) has understood that he must to give himself rests; we need to remind him less often."

He also achieved a long-standing objective with dad: "As we live a short distance from the ocean, they had set their end target of having a picnic at the shore and then returning."

"After multiple progressive preparation efforts, they finally finished their two-and-a-half-hour excursion. They arrived home weary but overjoyed. Mission accomplished."

Subsequent to a legal proceeding at the central criminal court, the youth was convicted of trying to kill and was jailed in 2020 for a minimum of 15 years.
