Eulogies Flow for Rob and Michele Reiner as Medical Examiner's Findings Are Sealed.

Over a fortnight following the shocking loss of celebrated film director Rob Reiner and his partner, photographer Michele Reiner, friends and colleagues persist in remembering the duo.

Quoting a Classic: Cary Elwes Recalls His Director

Sharing on social media, actor Cary Elwes, who starred in Reiner's iconic movie *The Princess Bride*, mentioned he just recently felt able to share openly about his profound loss.

"Sufficient time has passed that I can finally express my sorrow into words," shared Elwes, noting that his introductory moment with Reiner created an instant bond. "As we began sharing more moments together I realized this was someone I wanted in my life."

The actor shared behind-the-scenes footage from the movie, remarking that he cannot recall "a single day without mirth".

"The film is about love, loyalty and sacrifice. Things that Rob held dear. This is one of the many reasons he was the perfect person to guide it," Elwes wrote.

He additionally honored Michele Reiner, noting: "Asserting that they were a formidable pair would be an understatement. My heart still aches every time I remember you." He finished with a line from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but living is anguish without you."

Martin Scorsese Reflects on a Friend and Collaborator

In a separate tribute, acclaimed director Martin Scorsese paid homage to Reiner, whom he originally knew in the 1970s.

"Immediately, I loved spending time with Rob. We had a innate rapport for each other. He was uproarious and sometimes bitingly funny, but he was never the kind of guy who would command the room," Scorsese wrote.

Scorsese mentioned Reiner's acting part in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, portraying the father of the protagonist.

"He was skilled at improv with the best. He was a expert at comedy, he worked wonderfully with his co-stars, and he grasped the human predicament of his character," Scorsese noted.

Judicial Actions: Autopsy Reports Restricted

In a new development, a Los Angeles court official agreed to bar the disclosure of the Reiners' autopsy reports, at the request from the local authorities.

A court order issued a security hold on the files to prohibit the public release of "related notes, documents, files or images" connected to the active case.

The Medical Examiner's office had earlier stated their deaths were the consequence of homicide, with a public database listing the cause as "injuries from a sharp object".

Aftermath and Reactions

Following the killings, public personalities offered divergent reactions.

Ex-President Donald Trump commented on the matter, providing controversial statements that were broadly criticized by many public figures.

Podcaster Joe Rogan added his perspective to the those speaking out recently. Conversing on his program, Rogan labeled the statements as "disappointing" and suggested they demonstrated a concerning absence of compassion.

Rogan finished by remarking that an adviser could have intervened when the decision to weigh in on the tragedy was made.
